Barb's Short Bio
Barb is a long term resident of the Town of Eagle committed to making a positive difference to improve the quality of life and health in our community. Barb is a retired nursing leader and educator. Barb received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; a Master’s degree in Nursing from Marquette University, a Doctorate in Nursing Practice- Leadership from Edgewood College and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. Barb is a leader with strong financial management skills, system thinker, boundary spanner, collaborator and change agent. Barb enjoys kayaking, gardening, and photography.

Does Barb live in the Town of Eagle? Yes Barb grew up in the Town and has been in her present home since 1998.
Does Barb have board experience? Yes Barb has been on a number of non-profit boards including leadership positions on boards. Some community examples are Past President of the Alice Baker Library Board and the Old World Wisconsin Foundation Board.
Why is Barb running now for theTown Supervisor position? Barb retired from UW- Madison in Jan 2023 and feels the time is right to share her experience and leadership expertise to make a positive difference to the community.
